GOODNEWSLETTERNumber 430 August 29, 2012HIS SECOND COMING"Let no one in any way deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first,and the man of sin revealed, the son of perdition," 2nd Thessalonians 2:3 (NASB Version).The writer mentions two things that must take place before the Second Coming happens. The first event is the "FALLING AWAY." The falling away has been in progress for many years, I believe. The second advent tells the revelation of the SON OF PERDITION; which also must occur before Jesus returns. That is Paul's message. The Apostle, in the 1st verse, states that he is writing about "...the coming of our Lord Jesus Jesus Chris, AND by our gathering together unto Him." This is the SECOND COMING OF CHRIST.While, other END-TIME verses may be open for different interpretations, 2nd Thessalonians is just too clear on the subject of Christ's return. Thus, when we read about His Second Coming, we should keep these two points in mind. After all, His Comings are the greatest two times ever in man's history. His first coming lived out the Law, fulfilled it and paid the price of dying in order to pay for man breaking the LAW, always. Then, His Second Coming will set man within the framework of God's intended purpose of ruling and reigning the earth. That's why the LORD placed man on earth, in the beginning. then, we'll be sons and heirs of all that God did for us in Christ Jesus. AMEN and AMEN!!!Before Jesus comes again, however, we are to take notice of the world's decision making; which, right now, seems that no one is concerned about the END-TIMES. But, people will! Jesus, Paul and Daniel warns about this time period. We must take notice of what's coming on the earth, listen carefully TO THEM and, forget what others teach on this eternal subject.In Matthew 24:15-24, for instance, Jesus teaches about the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION (a motionless idol) set up in the temple. Of course, the Temple has to be rebuilt. It will; for, we understand that Israel is God's time piece. If we want to know about where we are in prophecy, all we need do is study what's happening in Israel. Thus, when we see the ABOMINATION, Jesus tells us to flee out of the country. I think that He is talking about Israel for the most part. They have to flee; for the great tribulation will come to that area. Israel will endure much during this time. In fact, Jesus warns that such power has never been on any portion of the globe "since the beginning of the world to this time..." (Mt. 24:21).My Brethren, I have been in the LORD'S work so long that I have heard it all; especially, the time that Jesus comes again. I know that most think of the RAPTURE and the taking all the saved out of the world before the tribulation. Further, the thought that God will only allow the Jews to undergo this tribulation tragedy, is the thought of most; as well. Even, some think that the Jews – such as, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, will not be in the Bride of Christ. So, there's a lot of ideas about Christ Second Coming, for sure!When I was first taught (back in the sixties) I was told that many shall sit with "Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven." Quickly, I noticed that the writing was in red LETTERS. That means that Jesus is teaching that all of faith shall inherit the kingdom together. Since then, the sixties, the Kingdom has ruled my heart. Without question, the KINGDOM gives all the answers to what men are seeking.
