"Things Coming on the World,"

Matthew 24 & 25.

    The words of Jesus are amazing. So much so, that we had better listen. Just reading His words on the END-TIMES about what's going to happen, ought to thrill every heart. In this issue, I want to list the things coming upon the earth, according to the writings of Matthew. While, some of the teachings are hard to receive, we need to, at least, know what Jesus said about the "End-Times."



    And, it is Interesting, according to WIKIPEDIA, that the Bible is not alone on "End-Times" teaching. Judaism, Islamism; as well as, Buddhism and Hinduism, have similar thoughts about God judging the inhabitants of the earth at the END.

    As a Christian, I want to hear and know what Christ taught. He is the only Savior and LORD of our lives. Thus, let's Follow the information below and REJOICE! Perhaps, God will open our hearts. So, let's make a list that Jesus taught. For time and space, we shall list only from Matthew 24. We expect to write on The End-Times for a few coming issues.

ON THE END-TIMES, JESUS TAUGHT

1. (Mt. 24:2) All stones would be thrown down. We think this occurred during the Romans invasion of A. D. 70. Thus, v 2 is fulfilled.

2. (Mt. 24:4) Deception will be strong; especially, at the end of time (Mt. 24:4).

3. (Mt. 24:5) False Christ will deceive many; after A. D. 70 but again, more intensely during the end of the time – such as now.

4. (Mt. 24:6) Wars and rumors (have) will increase but the end is not, yet.

5. (Mt. 24:7,8) Nations will fight each other and the world will experience famines, pestilences and earthquakes, sorrow is everywhere at this time.

6. (Mt. 24: 9) Persecutions are rampant. Killings, afflictions and hatred come upon all who hold the name of Jesus dear.

7. (Mt. 24:10) Jesus taught that betrayal and hatred abounds against one another.

8. (Mt. 24:11) Again, many false prophets will abound causing great deception.

9. (Mt. 24:12) Iniquity (wrong doings) shall offend so many that their Love will "wax cold."

10. (Mt. 24:13) Jesus tells His disciples to "endure to the end" and the "same shall be saved."

11. (Mt. 24:14) Then, our LORD teaches about enduring, witnessing. Afterward, when the gospel is preached everywhere, "THEN THE END SHALL COME."

Next week, we shall look at the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION of Matthew 24:15. You may study ahead by reading the Book of Daniel; in particular, chapter 12.
