Clear Verses
"Study to show Thyself Approved...Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth, 2 Timothy 2:15.
God's Word is very clear on so many points that we have to know what it says about any particular teaching. For example, the Church. The church is taught by its Head, Jesus Christ, that the church will remain though out time. Jesus says, "Upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell
shall not prevail against it" (Mt. 28:19-20). The church will never cease or change Her teachings.
Jesus meant that the church will always be
on the earth from the time that He established it, until He comes again. How true, my friend. Today. there are so many articles on the church's ongoing perpetuity that we can read it anytime. Please do so; for if you fail  to hear the church, you are considered a "heathen and a publican" (Mt. 18:17). I recommend the "TRAIL OF BLOOD." If you need a copy, just write me and it will be on its way to you.

Importantly, most of the churches are named in the New testament. There's the church at Corinth and, the church at Ephesus, etc. Then, Paul wrote that he
"confirmed the churches" in Syria and Cilicia, as he traveled the world on behalf of the churches (Acts 15:41). Paul wanted the church to remain true. She did.
Yes, the church remained true for years; about 320 years. Then, the church began to change. The warning from Jesus in Revelation are to true churches that
started to change doctrine and practice. It truly seems that Paul carried conviction about the fact that he "persecuted the Church of God." He considered that he was the least of all the apostles (see 1st Cor. 15:9).
Check out your church and see how far back It goes. Some of our Missionaries did and were re-baptized and re-ordained. Church history is all important and
these missionaries were even Baptists. One belong to the Bible Baptist; which, goes back to the 1800 hundreds. Still got doubts? It may be that you are little tired of hearing about the church. Then, I suggest that you read  the letter of Paul to the Ephesians. This letter points out that Jesus is Head, all right; but further, it tells of the church knowing the "manifold wisdom of God;" that "glory is given to God through the church;" and as each member obeys, he keeps the church from becoming "spotted and wrinkled." And, that's because Christ "nourishes the church everyday."
A great close for any article is found in Scripture. Thus, listen as Paul writes, "Unto Him be glory in the church...throughout all ages" (Ephesians 5:27).
