"ISRAEL, STILL GOD'S CLOCK"

"Seventy Weeks Are Determined Upon Thy City," Daniel 9:24.

   Our hearts and minds must be on the nation of Israel; if we are to be prophetically correct, today. When it comes to prophecy, Israel remains God's clock. And, it seems that Israel has been in the news since I was a baby boy. She is now - with another peace attempt with the Palestinians. Of course, America and Russia are always in the midst of these talks. Thank God for the guiding hand of America.

  Now, any commentary will break down Daniels 70 weeks; so, get yours out and see what they say about the end of time. Here's my approach. The Seventy Weeks are broken down for us in Daniel 9:24, with the weeks being made up of years;  that is, each week represents 7 years. In the prophecy, we see that we have but 7 years of Daniel's prophecy remaining. Daniel breaks this final time of seven years into 31/2 year periods; with Israel signing a peace treaty. "...in the midst week he shall cause the sacrifice and oblation to cease" (Dan. 9:27) It seems that Israel joins with the Roman government, but whatever, Israel makes a real be error. She signs a peace treaty with the wrong person.

   Let this be an example for us within God's plan. He is always patience and loves His people. God never stops loving Israel; nor does He ever stop loving any saved person; even though they make huge errors, too. In fact, until Jesus returns, God loves every person in the world. Remember, He sent His Son to die for our sin.
