We all shall meet the Lord, at one time or another
"It Is Appointed For Men To Die Once And After This Comes Judgment," Hebrews 9:27.

On the 7 hour drive to Tulare last week, Lavon and I listened to the radio on FM as Oldies were played. Certainly, being a former disc jockey, I loved to hear the old tunes, once again. But, as we listened, I began to wonder how old these groups and the singers were. One announcer said that Chuck Berry was 97. Wow! I loved his music back then and, I love it today, I found out. As the groups and individuals came on, I found myself saying, "He's dead; they're no longer around," etc. Elvis is gone, too. I began to wonder; especially when it concerns death, where will these musical blessed people spend eternity? Are they in the presence of Jesus? Are they saved? Fortunately, the singers of that day were members of churches, normally and, no doubt, saved. Read the Scripture teaching above, once again. Not only are we going to die, but afterward comes the judgment. Where will the singers be, when it comes to judgment? It's a serious time when we die, so ask yourself, 'Where will you spend eternity?' How about the judgment of the Lord, when He burst the clouds open and comes for judgment?

You can! Thus, since life is too short, trust the Lord and follow Him in all that you do. If you sing for a living, Sing for Him. If you don't sing at all, sing in His body, the church. It's the greatest you will ever sound. Sing, "Some glad morning when this life is o'er, I'll fly away." And, my friend, singing about Jesus and all that He has done for us, is the most important time you will ever spend, while living on this earth. Sing for Jesus. Praise the Lord, in song, while you have time to do so. "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Sweetest name I know...
