"Everything Was Going Wrong ... Then..."
"The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it," Proverbs 22:20.
I went through a lot over the weekend and the next day, Monday. on Saturday, I went to see if the 2-yard garbage bin had been taken at the church building. Nope. Sunday was great, however; Pastor Francisco Yanes preached a wonderful sermon on Chapter Two of Titus. Then, on Monday, I go to the bank to post Sundays offerings. Also, I paid some bills. While, I was at the bank, I wondered if the garbage bin had been taken. Yes, it was. When I pushed the bin to the back of the building, I noticed that someone had left the outside light on; or, forgot to turn it off. Better get it turned off, I surmised; but, when I got to the front door, I remembered that I had given my key to the air condition man, earlier. I did not panic, however. I just needed to remember the nearest member's house. Let's see, Diane Rolls' house is less than a mile away so, I took off to see if she was home. Yep, and I got her key. Back at the church building the key worked just fine. Then, I thought, I'd make some extra keys; which, we intended to do, anyway. Off to the key shop. But, when I got there (about 10 am) it was closed. What? First the garbage bin then, the light and now, the key shop is closed. Since Lowe's was about two miles down Sunrise Blvd. I'll just go there, I thought. Great! Keys were less than 4 bucks. Back to Diane's house. I gave her the old key telling her that new keys sometimes don't work well. She agreed. Then, I related to her about the way things were going. Saturday, the bin was still in front of the building; the outside light was left on; then, the key shop was closed. So, I had to go the Lowe's. Diane was sympathetic over my sad ordeal. We said good bye and then, things really changed. They got so much better. (about time, huh?) Diane's neighbor had purchased a Border Collie Pup from me some two years ago. And look, his garage door was open. "Hi," I said. Sure enough, Chelsea, the pup was running in the yard. It was great to rub her and see how much she had  grown. She is black & white, with just a dash of brown on face. What a wonderful pup, I thought; SMART !

As I left off talking to Chelsea and went back to the van, I was thinking that the day wasn't too bad, after all. I got to visit with Diane and pet the puppy, Chelsea. Although things went a bit slow, up 'til then, everything got done. I'm a rich man, I thought. Thank You, LORD.
