GOD'S CREATED HARMONY
(AS SEEN IN THE RESURRECTION)
"But God gives it a body just as He wished, and to each of the seeds a body of its own," 1st Corinthians 15:38 (NASB).
The point I see in Paul's writing here, is that each category PROVIDES FUNCTIONALITY within the universe; within the creation. The sun keeps us warm and allows us to see the earth to provide light for us. We are to move around the earth and, some day, subdue it.
At night, the stars and the moon, provide light for mankind. What I see as the firs order that Paul is writing about is HARMONY. So, it's not a matter of which is most glorious; rather, it shows that a difference exists between the 'light-giving' elements within God's creation. All these elements provide HARMONY within the creation. Yes, there is harmony;now and then!
Now, any preacher can begin at this point. I can hear it now. 'THOSE WHO ARE CLOSER TO THE SUN (SON) ARE WARMER TO HIS WORK AND SEEN MORE OFTEN. THEY ARE ALWAYS MUCH BRIGHTER. BUT (there is always a "but") THOSE WHO ARE NOT SERVING THE LORD ARE COLD TOWARD GOD'S PEOPLE. THEY HIDE THEIR LIGHTS. THEY HIDE THEIR TALENTS.
Well, it's true. There are many that "hide their talents" and stay away from church. They don't consider others nor, act the best toward them, either. The talent understanding is directly in line with those who 'Fear Iniquity' ('wrong doing'). Jesus said that "...the love of many shall wax cold" (Mt. 24:12). Jesus said they lose their warmth. While, we see all these points and learn from each one, the question is: what did Paul mean about the resurrection? And, what about all the verses on the different glories at the resurrection?
First off, let's consider the HARMONY within the natural earth (terrestrial). Certainly, there is harmony on earth. It operates wonderfully; even though Adam plunged us into separation from the LORD. Of course, we like to live in different areas because of the weather and such, but harmony is seen, everywhere. I believe that each one living within the kingdom of God will provide the needed harmony then and, he does now, by faith.
After the coming kingdom and after the resurrection, different glories are seen in the Bible, certainly. The earthly and the heavenly glories are written so that we might learn our position, today, I believe. Yet, we know that God always has ORDER in His creations: the creation now and the new creation that comes after the 1000 year millennium reign of Christ on earth.
All of God's work is because He is in charge. IT WORKS because each one that He calls contributes to His will. Today, ORDER works because of the heart. We believe what the Bible says, "For With the heart man believes unto righteousness" (Ro. 10:10). By faith, we can learn the ORDER of God. We can obey by His grace. We learn to stay on the Roman Road and walk on it, according to the Word of God. Further, we know also that God's grace calls and operates within His creation; especially, His chosen ones. WHAT HARMONY! THERE'S NOTHING LIKE IT!
